Leading a medical university as Vice Chancellor is an exceptional opportunity for a senior academic leader.

The role requires driving the institution's strategic direction, vision, and goals. As the Chief Executive & Academic Head, you will oversee various aspects of the university, including academics, research, operations, student experience, financial management, and people leadership.

This position involves building strong teams, nurturing talent, and ensuring students and faculty thrive in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate should have a track record of developing and executing a strategic vision, leading complex teams, and advancing the institution's reputation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Academic Leadership: Lead the strategy, vision, and direction of the university to align with global standards and emerging trends in education and healthcare.
  • Research and Innovation Development: Build a vibrant research culture by supporting faculty and students in scholarly activities, publishing, and securing research funding.
  • Institutional Governance and Compliance: Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and accreditation requirements (UGC, NMC, MCI, etc.).
  • External Engagement and Representation: Represent the university at national and international platforms to build visibility and reputation.

Qualifications:

  • A distinguished academician, with teaching experience in a reputed institution within a private university system.
  • A medical Doctor or Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from a premier institution with experience in academic education, research, curriculum development, administration, and management.
  • Minimum 10+ Years of experience as professor or equivalent positions held in a university system or reputable research or academic administrative organizations.
