Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled individual to join our team as a Trainee, responsible for handling General Ledger close activities. This role will involve processing journals, account reconciliations, trial balance review, and reporting of unreconciled open items.

In this position, you will work closely with domain specialists to bring value through new ways of doing work, leading to operational efficiency.

Your key responsibilities will include preparing and reviewing month-end accounting, balance sheet account reconciliations, and reporting of open items. You will also be responsible for passing on general entries, ensuring timely delivery of work, and providing regular updates to partners including clients.

In addition, you will be expected to prepare and update process documentation, analyze financial data, and handle responses to queries from clients and auditors.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce or related field
  • Relevant work experience in General Ledger

Candidates with Chartered Accountancy or Master's degree in Finance will be preferred. A good understanding of General Ledger, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in MS Office applications are essential for this role.
