Job Title: Senior Business Analyst Expert

 

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced business analyst to join our team. As a senior business analyst, you will be responsible for performing complex financial analysis and valuation tasks to support business decisions.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting financial statement analysis and developing discount rates to estimate the fair value of businesses, business interests, and intangible assets.
  • Analyzing historical financial and operating results of target companies to explain business trends and identify risks.
  • Developing and implementing financial models to support business decisions.
  • Performing market/industry research and developing industry growth estimates.
  • Constructing and reviewing valuation reports and other client deliverables.

 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience performing work related to financial analysis, valuation, and modeling.
  • Advanced knowledge of financial databases and software tools such as Capital IQ and Bloomberg.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present complex information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

While not required, it would be beneficial to have:

  • Advanced degree and/or certifications including MBA, CA, or CFA.
  • Experience in valuing contingent consideration and valuation for mergers & acquisitions.
  • Ability to travel (if required).
