Role: Junior Desktop Support Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Junior Desktop Support Professional to join our support team. As a key member of our IT support team, you will be responsible for providing timely and effective technical assistance to end-users, resolving hardware and software issues, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional technical support via phone, email, or chat, ensuring prompt resolution of customer inquiries and issues.
  • Troubleshoot complex desktop-related problems using various tools and technologies, including BMC Remedy and SolarWinds monitoring tool.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve root causes of technical issues.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and provide 24/7 support as required.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and developments, applying new knowledge to improve support services.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Graduate with Diploma/Certificate in Information Technology or Regular degree/diploma in Information Technology, B.E, B. Tech, BCA / MCA, BSCIT.
  • 1.5 years of experience in desktop support, preferably in a similar role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
