Jaipur Rugs is a renowned social enterprise that harmoniously blends rural craftsmanship with global markets through its exquisite handmade carpets. As a family-run business, we offer an exclusive range of hand-knotted and hand-woven rugs created using 2500 years old traditional art forms.

The founder, Mr. Nand Kishore Chaudhary, pioneered a unique business model that provides livelihood to artisans at their doorstep, revolutionizing the standard practice of involving middlemen in artisanal communities. Today, our network comprises over 40,000 artisans spread across 600 rural Indian villages in five states of India.

Our Business Model

We have an end-to-end business model, encompassing the sourcing of wool to exporting finished handmade rugs. Our modern and eclectic collection, crafted using the finest wool and silk, has garnered numerous global awards and is currently exported to more than 45 countries, with our US sales arm, Jaipur Living, Inc., located in Georgia, Atlanta.

Sales Assistant Manager Position

This role requires experience in handling luxury end customers and interior project business with architects and interior designers. The ideal candidate should be energetic, possess excellent communication skills, and be able to understand the needs of luxury end customers and interior designers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Client Experience: Ensuring a positive customer experience through calls, emails, chats, and virtual calls.
  • Incoming Calls: Answering incoming calls and following up on emails.
  • Outgoing Calls: Making outgoing calls to existing and new data to generate business and achieve sales targets.
  • Documents: Preparing and sharing Proforma Invoice, Price Quotation, Presentation, and other necessary documents using MS Office for clients.
  • Client Meetings: Attending meetings with clients and IDAs online and offline as required.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Design, or a relevant field; MBA is desirable.
  • Proven experience in sales and CRM is mandatory.
  • Basic knowledge of working with interior designers and architects would be an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of online sales is preferable.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Excellent organizing and leadership skills with commercial awareness.

We offer a competitive salary of $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience, location, and performance.
