Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Lead to oversee the development of Passenger Car BIW structures. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to utilize their expertise in concept generation, cost optimization, and team management to drive business growth.

This role requires strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage project plans, deliverables, and timelines. You will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams and suppliers to ensure successful project outcomes. Additionally, you will develop and implement cost-saving ideas for components and assembly processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the development of BIW components, including design reviews and packaging reviews.
  • Manage project plans, deliverables, and timelines, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers to coordinate efforts and ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Develop and implement cost-saving ideas for components and assembly processes.
  • Apply knowledge of DFM, DFA, GD&T, and Stack Up to optimize component design and manufacturing.
  • Utilize Team Center software and NX surfacing tools to streamline design and development processes.
  • Participate in prototyping activities and builds to test and refine designs.
