Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our Lending Services division as a Loan Operations Specialist.

About the Role:

  • The successful candidate will work closely with US-based clients to ensure timely and accurate loan servicing, receiving and reviewing commercial loan documentation, identifying key terms and ensuring compliance with applicable service level agreements.
  • Responsibilities include entering loan details into the ACBS system of record, understanding and interpreting the Bank's credit approval document and any applicable credit write-up, analyzing complex loan structures and loan documentation, including large syndicated transactions, translating key terms from commercial loan documentation into the ACBS system of record, and serving as the primary point of contact for clients on all servicing-related activity for the bank's direct/bilateral/syndicated loan portfolio.
  • Additional duties involve monitoring and performing ACBS system input for timely administration of rate options, borrowing base adjustments, reduction to revolver schedules, and facility utilization changes, collaborating with the agent bank to balance and resolve any issues within the portfolio, processing daily research and maintenance requests from lending officers and clients, performing necessary analysis and system input, reviewing and balancing daily reconciliation reports for general ledger activity tied to loan servicing, analyzing exception reports, determining necessary monetary and system maintenance required for resolution, and responding to client inquiries around loan balance, rate information, loan statement questions, advance and payment inquiries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze commercial loan documentation to identify key terms and ensure compliance with service level agreements.
  • Enter loan details into the ACBS system of record, including borrower entities, guarantor entities, rate, repayment, accrual, collateral, etc.
  • Understand and interpret the Bank's credit approval document and any applicable credit write-up.
  • Analyze complex loan structures and loan documentation, including large syndicated transactions.
  • Translate key terms from commercial loan documentation into the ACBS system of record.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients on all servicing-related activity for the bank's direct/bilateral/syndicated loan portfolio.
