Job Title: Financial Operations Leader

We are seeking a highly experienced Financial Operations Leader to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing direct tax strategies to optimize the company's tax position.

The successful candidate will have in-depth knowledge of Indian direct tax laws and regulatory frameworks, as well as proven experience in tax planning, compliance, and handling tax audits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement direct tax strategies to optimize the company's tax position.
  • Research, interpret, and apply relevant tax laws and regulations to ensure full compliance.
  • Prepare and review direct tax returns, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely submission.
  • Manage tax audits and coordinate responses and documentation for tax authorities.
  • Advise internal teams on tax implications of business decisions and transactions.
  • Monitor changes in direct tax laws and assess their business impact.
  • Identify tax saving opportunities while minimizing tax liabilities and risks.
  • Provide guidance and training to finance and business teams on direct tax matters.

Requirements:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of Indian direct tax laws and regulatory frameworks.
  • Proven experience in tax planning, compliance, and handling tax audits.
  • Strong research and analytical skills to interpret complex tax legislation.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in mentoring or guiding junior finance professionals.
