Training and Development Manager

We are seeking a skilled Training and Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for designing and delivering training programs that enhance the skills and knowledge of our sales team.

Your primary goal will be to identify skill and competency gaps within the sales team and develop targeted training interventions to address these needs. You will also be responsible for preparing the annual training plan and calendar for the sales force, as well as designing and delivering training modules on products such as equity markets, debt markets, mutual funds, PMS, AIFs, and derivatives.

In addition to your technical expertise, you will need excellent communication and presentation skills, as well as strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills. You will also need to be willing to travel and work in the field as required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct training needs analysis for the sales team in collaboration with business heads.
  • Identify skill and competency gaps and recommend appropriate training interventions.
  • Prepare the Annual training plan and calendar for the sales force as per the organization goals.
  • Design and deliver training modules through appropriate channels on products like equity markets, debt markets, mutual funds, PMS, AIFs, and derivatives (through appropriate channel) to support onboarding of new hires with Induction & orientation sessions.
  • Continuously update training materials to reflect market developments, regulatory changes, and product innovations.
  • Conduct Investor Awareness Programs in accordance with SEBI norms to promote financial literacy and product understanding.
  • Assist in non-training initiatives such as new product launches, market updates, and regulatory change communications.
  • Collaborate with SMEs to ensure training content is aligned with business and compliance requirements.
Requirements:
  • A winning mindset and learning attitude.
  • Educational Background: Graduate/Postgraduate or Full-time MBA.
  • Experience: 8+ years of experience. Prior experience in training is not mandatory; individuals with experience in Sales & good understanding of the mutual funds industry with orientation and flair for training & coaching can apply.
  • NISM VA Certified (can be obtained before joining).
  • Excellent Communication & Presentation Skills, Strong stakeholder management & collaboration skills, Willingness to travel & be on field.
  • Relevant Training & TTT Certification would be an added advantage.
  • Updated with market news and mutual fund industry trends, open to travel.
