Manual Test Engineer Job

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Manual Test Engineer.

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in testing software applications and a keen eye for detail. They will be responsible for developing effective test plans and test cases based on business requirements, executing manual testing for web, mobile, and API applications, and performing functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive test strategies and test cases aligned with business objectives
  • Execute thorough manual testing across multiple platforms including web, mobile, and API
  • Perform rigorous testing to ensure high-quality product releases
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to resolve defects and improve overall quality
  • Maintain accurate test documentation and ensure comprehensive test coverage

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Minimum 2-5 years of experience as a Manual Tester/QA Engineer
  • Strong knowledge of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Experience testing across web, mobile, and API platforms
  • Familiarity with bug tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
