This is a full-time remote position for a Senior Manual Tester in Azure Data Engineering. The job involves overseeing the testing lifecycle, developing test strategies and plans, managing risk assessments, and ensuring high-quality delivery of solutions.

  • Develop and implement comprehensive test plans and lead a team of manual testers.
  • Perform thorough risk assessments to identify areas for improvement and ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide regular updates and foster effective communication.
  • Ensure the quality and reliability of Azure Data solutions through meticulous testing and quality control processes.

Requirements

  • Experience in Azure Data Engineering, data integration, and data warehousing.
  • Strong knowledge of manual testing methodologies and techniques.
  • Ability to create and manage complex test plans and write detailed test cases.
  • Experience with Agile and DevOps practices, including iterative development and continuous integration.
  • Excellent leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and address complex issues.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders and team members.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with minimal supervision.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in manual testing.
  • Experience in the utility sector is highly desirable but not mandatory.
