Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your technical expertise in quality assurance and software development.

  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and automating quality processes to ensure products meet specifications for quality, function, and reliability prior to delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing and maintaining functional test cases, system & integration test cases, and test artifacts like test data, test cases, and automated scripts used in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Executing manual and automated test cases that validate functionalities, code quality, and report test results following all formal test architectures and project processes.
  • Tracking metrics such as velocity, code quality, defect density across all phases, code review metrics, testing metrics for each sprint and reporting them to management.
  • Documenting results of testing including expected behavior, actual behavior, and detailed steps to reproduce any defects.
  • Providing quality sign-off to project teams and executing testing duties assigned.
  • Configuring QA performance/load test design and execution to ensure high-performance software environments under load.
  • Incorporating client usage and feedback into test scripts to mimic end-user behavior in QA.
  • Diagnosing problems and reporting bugs and enhancements to the Agile squad.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM field or related function required.
  • 3+ years of application testing experience.
  • Experience with use case generation, manual testing, and bug lifecycle management.
  • Understanding of relational database models and experience with GUI tools to interact with them.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment.
  • Exposure to using bug tracking and test case management tools such as JIRA, Azure TFS, and Git.
  • Experience testing and working with multi-browser and mobile device systems.
  • Good customer empathy.
  • Can-do attitude.
  • Excellent written and communication skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passionate about building amazing products.
  • Strong analysis and autonomous problem discovery and solving skills.
  • Experience in C#, JUnit/TestNG, Jenkins, Playwright, Selenium, SoapUI.
  • Experience in creating Playwright, Selenium, REST API, JUnit test automation.
  • Experienced with API testing (JSON, REST) using tools such as Postman and JMeter (performance testing, writing scripts).
