Tech Infrastructure Specialist

Job Description:

The selected candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive technical support and maintenance of production and development systems, software products, both remote and onsite. The specialist will work on various platforms, implementing technology at the operating system level and performing basic and intermediate-level troubleshooting tasks.

Responsibilities:
  • Active participation in team discussions to resolve technical issues.
  • Contribute to solving work-related problems through collaborative efforts.
  • Ensure timely resolution of technical issues and maintain high-quality performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve system issues efficiently.
  • Document troubleshooting steps and solutions for future reference and knowledge sharing.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior team members to enhance their skills.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to improve overall performance.
  • Monitor system alerts and ensure prompt action is taken to prevent system downtime.
  • Provide 24x7 technical support to meet business needs.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Cisco Unified Communication Manager and Cisco Unity Connection expertise.
  • Knowledge of Cisco PSTN and Analog Voice gateways - 4300, 4400, 8200 series, VG 220, VG248.
  • Familiarity with integration protocol SIP, MGCP, H.323.
  • Experience with IMAP and Cisco Jabber.
  • Proficiency in different models of Cisco IP phones like 78XX, 88XX, 99XX series.
  • Knowledge of Cisco hardware servers - UCS, MCS, BE6K, BE7K.
  • Familiarity with Cisco/Polycom Video conferencing devices.
Requirements:

The candidate must have:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Unified Communication and Collaboration Implementation.
  • 15 years full-time education or equivalent work experience.
