Project Manager Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to oversee the end-to-end delivery of retail interior projects. This is a dynamic and challenging role that requires strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for managing project execution from concept to completion, coordinating with internal teams, clients, contractors, suppliers, and designers.
  • This includes developing and managing project budgets and timelines, tracking progress, and ensuring adherence to agreed financial and time constraints.
  • The Project Manager must also interpret CAD drawings, layouts, and design plans to ensure alignment with client requirements and feasibility for implementation.
  • Maintaining quality control of materials, finishes, and installations is crucial to meeting client expectations.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience sourcing and managing suppliers for furniture, fixtures, and fittings, ensuring timely procurement and delivery of materials.
  • Identifying potential risks during project execution and implementing mitigation plans is key to success.
  • The Project Manager will maintain accurate records of project progress, budgets, and issues, providing regular updates to clients and senior management.

Key Requirements include:

  • Minimum 4 years of project management experience in retail interior design and fit-out sector.
  • Strong knowledge of Advanced Excel for project tracking, budgeting, and reporting.
  • Familiarity with CAD software and ability to understand and review technical drawings and plans.
  • Experience with turnkey retail interior projects, including furniture and fittings.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to manage multiple stakeholders and maintain professional relationships.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, contractors, and vendors to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.

Desired Skills/Qualities include:

  • Familiarity with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Trello, etc.).
