Deputy Manager Engineering Role

Job Description:
- We are seeking a highly skilled Deputy Manager-Engineering to lead our team of engineers and technicians in the delivery of instrumentation projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- To develop and implement quality systems related documents e.g. SOP's, formats, etc. associated with instrumentation.
- To create and update calibration schedules for instruments ensuring optimal performance.
- Prepare preliminary cost estimations and track expenses to ensure budget adherence.
- Develop and maintain project documentation including P & ID's, Instrument index, instrument list, BOM, data sheets.
- Create cable schedules, logic write-ups, interlock alarm systems, and look-up drawings for efficient project execution.
- Initiate vendor enquiries, evaluate vendors, conduct material inspections, and obtain quality approvals.
- Execute instrumentation work and commission instrumentation systems.
- Review and prepare project documentation to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Plan and implement effective preventive maintenance plans for instruments ensuring minimal downtime.
- Support and attend major breakdowns, provide technical assistance for routine maintenance, and suggest actions for repetitive failures.
- Identify alternatives and optimize the use of available instruments and systems, and manage spare parts effectively.
- Maintain statutory requirements for plant operations and ensure effective performance of testing and measuring instruments.
