Project Manager

We are seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Project Manager. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of substation civil construction projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.

The successful candidate will possess strong working knowledge of civil works in AIS/GIS substations, proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings, and hands-on experience in substation civil construction, including foundations, equipment installations, and drainage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversight of project implementation, ensuring timely completion and quality control
  • Review and interpretation of layouts and technical drawings
  • Management of site establishment activities in coordination with subcontractors
  • Submission and approval of civil drawings at the site level
  • Coordination of design-related changes and updates with stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or Master's in a related field
  • Strong working knowledge of civil works in AIS/GIS substations (up to 800kV)
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
  • Hands-on experience in substation civil construction, including foundations, equipment installations, and drainage
  • Familiarity with civil BOQ preparation, costing, and risk analysis

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of BBS, JMC, material reconciliation, and project billing
  • Strong grasp of civil codes, safety norms, and environmental regulations
  • Effective communication (English & Hindi) and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), AutoCAD, and MS Project or Primavera
