Job Opportunity for Substation Design Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Substation Design Engineer with expertise in GIS design to join our team.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for handling all customer interface primary engineering activities, including preparing GIS GAS SLD, Plan and Section View for customer submission.
  • Additionally, the engineer will prepare 3D models of GIS substations using A-CAD based PLM tools (Primtech) and provide technical support to the order execution team for drawing approval.
  • Responsibilities also include preparing constructional drawings and earthing proposals for GIS substations, as well as data sheets and GTPs for customer-specific orders.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • An Electrical Engineer diploma with 8-10 years of work experience or a graduate degree with 6-8 years of experience or a master's degree with 4-5 years of experience is required.
  • Hands-on experience in design and engineering for substations, particularly air-insulated and gas-insulated substations, is essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with 3D CAD tools like AutoCAD and Primtech are necessary.
  • A deep understanding of international and Indian standards, as well as hands-on design experience for multiple projects in substation design, is expected.
