Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Workforce Optimization Specialist to join our team.

About the Role
  1. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing active and proactive demands from business units, understanding skill matrices, billing, cost, and location details, as well as start dates.
  2. They will ensure that available supply is submitted within 24 hours of demand creation.
  3. In cases where no supply is available, the demand must be flagged for external hiring within 48 hours.
  4. The specialist will have regular communication with delivery managers to understand and showcase active evaluation and realized fulfillment for the week/month.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage overall associate allocation on the bench and upcoming planned releases.
  2. Schedule pool connects with associates on a weekly basis and discuss all active positions and current evaluations.
  3. Update the skill matrix repository, associate profiles, and track profile submissions at the requisition ID level.
  4. Connect with resigned associates and prepare potential retention cases.
Evaluation Management
  1. Responsible for scheduling interview calls on available platforms based on panel/candidate availability.
  2. Follow up for detailed technical feedback from the panel and manage feedback in a central repository.
  3. Ensure feedback is shared with candidates within the timeline.
  4. Share a weekly summary of pending evaluations with respective stakeholders.
Upskilling Coordination
  1. Work closely with delivery and training teams to understand skill gaps for each associate. Plan out upskilling/cross-skilling based on identified gaps.
  2. Maintain tracking for all associates for training and scores received.
  3. Maintain scores data in the portal.
Publishing Weekly Reports
  1. Update all reports (Shared/Dashboards/Portals) on a daily basis.
  2. Send weekly reports to practice stakeholders on current demand and supply analysis.
  3. Prepare deck reports for discussions with delivery for resourcing.
  4. Create BHC projection reports for VBU level.
  5. Follow up with delivery for potential extension for upcoming auto-deallocation cases.
  6. Follow up with delivery to trace resignation cases and identify replacements wherever possible.
Demand Forecast & Proactive Hiring
  1. Work closely with vertical business units to consolidate upcoming forecasted demand and plan potential mapping from upcoming releases and proactive joiners.
  2. Closely work with delivery and talent acquisition teams to build a proactive pipeline based on demand forecast.
  3. Regular follow-up/buddy-up calls with upcoming joiners to resolve doubts and provide assistance as needed.
