Visual Identity Director

We are looking for a visionary leader to define our visual identity across web, print, social, events, video, and emerging formats.

You will own the visual language for all our properties, creating and evolving it to reflect our brand's values and personality.

About The Role:

This is an opportunity to build the team, processes, and design culture that make our visual identity legendary.

  • Define the Brand: Create and evolve the visual language for all our properties.
  • Lead Design Everywhere: Web, social, editorial, motion, events, spatial, OOH – nothing is off-canvas.
  • Harness Creative AI: Integrate Gen-AI tools into concepting, style-frames, motion pre-viz, and rapid prototyping.
  • Elevate Video & Motion: Partner with our video team to craft cinematic title cards, lower thirds, and data-driven infographics; guide AI-assisted video editing and VFX workflows.
  • Systemize Excellence: Create scalable design systems, asset libraries, and AI prompts that speed up quality, not compromise it.
  • Mentor & Multiply: Coach graphic designers, motion artists, and freelancers; instill a culture of critique and craft.
  • Collaborate at Altitude: Work hand-in-hand with Editorial, Marketing, Events, and Product to ensure every touchpoint feels unmistakably ours.
  • Set the Benchmark: Ensure every output is gold-standard – visually striking, strategically on-point, and on time.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience: 6–10 yrs leading multi-disciplinary design teams in media, digital publishing, or agency environments.
  • Core Tools: Adobe CC (Ps, Ai, Id, Ae), Figma; bonus points for Blender/C4D, Unreal, or 3-D prototyping apps.
  • AI Fluency: Proven use of Gen-AI image/video tools for ideation or production; ability to write, refine, and share effective prompt libraries.
  • Visual Mastery: Expert eye for typography, color, layout, motion, data-viz & brand systems.
  • Storytelling & Strategy: You see the narrative thread behind every pixel and can sell the concept in the boardroom.
