Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Project Coordinator to join our team in Bengaluru, India. As part of this role, you will work closely with us to provide project management and logistical support to corporate volunteers who will be providing pro bono consulting services to local social sector organizations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Identify and select potential host client organizations and help develop Scope of Works reflecting the specific areas of intervention requested by local host client organizations.
  • Support local host client organizations in preparing for the arrival of corporate volunteers and ensure stakeholder meetings are arranged.
  • Participate in conference calls with corporate volunteers in advance of their arrival in Bengaluru.
  • Support corporate volunteers in delivering Scopes of Work.
  • Act as the on-the-ground interface between us and partner organizations in Bengaluru, including regular correspondence with our staff and other stakeholders.
  • Participate in meetings with corporate volunteers and with host client organizations, as requested.
  • Prepare financial and final program reports.

Logistics:

  • Assist in procuring and negotiating accommodations and transportation in Bengaluru for corporate volunteers.
  • Coordinate the program launch and closing event(s) for corporate volunteers and host client organizations.
  • Prepare guides and suggestions for project participants.
  • Orient new corporate volunteers upon arrival in Bengaluru.
  • Manage project travel logistics for corporate volunteers while they are in Bengaluru.
  • Act as a logistical and informational resource for corporate volunteers and troubleshoot challenges they may face.
  • Monitor and advise on security arrangements for corporate volunteers when they are in Bengaluru.

Requirements:

  1. Must be based in Bengaluru with in-depth area familiarity.
  2. College degree in project management, organizational development, sustainability, NGO management, impact investing, communications, or related field.
  3. Minimum of 5-10 years of experience.
  4. Exceptional writing and communications skills.
  5. Ability to conduct Gap and SWOT analysis and develop consulting Scopes of Work with limited supervision.
  6. Experience working with cross-cultural teams and/or skills-based volunteering programs.
  7. Ability to multi-task and manage diverse tasks simultaneously.
  8. Flexible and able to work in a team, as well as individually with limited supervision.
  9. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  10. Fluent in English with fluency in Kannada a plus.
  11. Exceptional customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  12. Experience in virtual and in-person presentation skills.

This is a part-time consultant position with an estimated timeline of 5-6 months. Pay is based on past experience and the type of work required for this position.
