Job Summary:

Mechanical Project Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fire protection systems and experience working on high-rise residential or commercial projects.

  • Must have 3-5 years of experience in fire protection systems, with exposure to all aspects of Fire Fighting Systems, Sprinkler systems, and Fire alarm system.
  • Experience in managing task-oriented groups, planning skills, and ability to work within stringent financial, quality, and time-bound targets.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Word, and MS Excel.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to coordinate and administer Fire Fighting related materials, systems, and shop drawings submittals.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day work, designing and implementing solutions, and ensuring that all plans meet regulatory requirements. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage designs and implementation of mechanical systems.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and specifications.
  • Direct and monitor subcontractors, laborers, and vendors to ensure work meets specifications and deadlines.
  • Inspect work sites for code compliance and safety hazards.
  • Validate design issues related to Fire Fighting and suggest alternative solutions.
