About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanical Engineering Graduate Intern to assist in the assembly and fabrication of mechanical parts and systems.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mechanical components and be able to follow instructions and stay detail-oriented during builds.

Responsibilities include assisting in the assembly and fabrication of mechanical parts and systems, following technical drawings and instructions for precise builds, supporting in troubleshooting mechanical issues during prototyping, handling tools and workshop equipment safely and efficiently, working with vendors for fabrication and component procurement, contributing to prototype development and quality checks, supporting in 3D CAD work and documentation where needed, and procuring local components necessary for mechanical assembly and prototyping.

Requirements include pursuing or having recently completed a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering or related field, eagerness to engage in hands-on tasks—fabrication, assembly, and testing, understanding of mechanical components and how things fit together, ability to follow instructions and stay detail-oriented during builds, and clear communication skills, especially when coordinating with vendors and team members.

Preferred Qualifications include experience with fabrication tools, exposure to workshop practices, eagerness to learn and take initiative in solving practical problems, familiarity with mechanical drawings and interpreting them during assembly, and collaboration with external vendors to ensure accurate fabrication of designs.
