Job Overview

We are seeking a Sr. Engineer to lead the homologation process for a retrofit emission control device and automotive related products.

The candidate will be responsible for driving all the homologation related activity, leading the homologation team, and ensuring the successful completion of the type-approval and CoP projects that meet regulatory compliance requirements.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop powerful and enhanced homologation strategies & roadmap for the retrofit emission control device and automotive related products
  • Developing and managing relationships with Test Agencies and regulatory agencies to ensure smooth execution of the projects.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the homologation team, ensuring the team is effectively executing homologation strategies and meeting timelines.
  • Monitor and report on the homologation process, including risks and issues, to senior management.
  • Foster a culture of process-driven ideas across the engineering team, encouraging cross-functional teamwork and open communication.
  • Working in ambiguity while ensuring the team remains focused and motivated.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • At least 3 years of experience in homologation, certification, or regulatory compliance, with a minimum of 1 year in a leadership role.
  • Experience working with regulatory agencies, certification bodies, and homologation partners.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities.
