The role involves:

  • Managing tax advisory engagements independently with minimal supervision
  • Delivering tax opinions, short notes, and email responses on day-to-day clients' tax matters
  • Handling tax compliances such as filing tax returns, withholding tax statements, and advance tax
  • Managing tax assessment and litigation proceedings before tax authorities
  • Training and developing junior staff members
  • Delivering tax technology assets through licensing and managed services
  • Serving as a single point of contact (SPOC) for end-to-end tax operations engagements
  • Internal client code management
  • Business development and collaboration with other tax services lines and business functions

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • 5-7 years' experience in Direct Taxation
  • Strong technical knowledge
  • Analytical skills and conceptual clarity
  • Eye for detail and innovation thinking
  • Time and cost management skills
  • Leadership and team management abilities
