Job Overview

We seek an experienced Senior Tax Manager to oversee and manage our tax strategy, compliance, planning, risk management, and reporting.

This role ensures adherence to Indian tax laws and international regulations while optimizing tax efficiency and supporting business initiatives through proactive tax advice.

  • Foster and manage the preparation and review of income tax and GST returns, ensuring timely filing of all tax forms.
  • Ensure accurate and timely filing of consolidated state and local income tax returns and other business-related filings.
  • Pursue opportunities for process improvement in company tax procedures.
  • Develop strategic tax planning for corporate and state taxes.
  • Lead tax team members in preparing components of the income tax return and other tax documents.
  • Create an overall return calendar and coordinate timing and inputs with the tax team.
  • Maintain effective control procedures over all aspects of the tax process.
  • Manage income tax audits, including preparing responses and creating schedules.
  • Monitor legislative and regulatory tax law developments, communicate their effects proactively, and create strategies to capitalize on changes in taxation legislation.
  • Support internal audits, statutory audits, and special tax-related projects.
  • Review tax returns and quarterly/yearly tax projections.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 8+ years of experience as a tax manager; CA or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge of individual/corporate/partnership tax, e-commerce industry experience.
  • Strong accounting, analytical, and research skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Indian direct and indirect tax laws, compliance, and procedures for Companies.
  • Experience with various tax operations and ability to drive process improvements.
  • Ability to utilize project management and accounting best practices to organize tasks and prioritize the tasks of other tax team members.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with stakeholders.
