System Reliability Engineer

We are looking for a skilled System Reliability Engineer to join our team. This role will be responsible for creating and implementing an SRE backlog, working with senior stakeholders to agree and drive the backlog, and managing dependencies across teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create an SRE backlog of broad tasks that need to be done to implement SRE at scale
  • Work with senior stakeholders to agree and drive the backlog
  • Liaise and manage dependencies across teams
  • Implement services that improve IT and support teams using software engineering aspects
  • Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines
  • Build proprietary tools to mitigate weaknesses in incident management or software delivery
  • Troubleshoot Support Escalation and route escalations to concerned teams
  • Optimize on-call processes via automation
  • Document knowledge and optimize SDLC

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Deep working knowledge of monitoring and log analytics tools like Dynatrace, Splunk, Grafana, CloudWatch, X-Ray
  • Coding skills in scripting languages like Python, Ruby for automation tool development
  • Mastery of cloud infrastructure, particularly AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, Lambda, CloudFormation, AWS CLI)
  • CI/CD expertise - setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to automate testing and deployment processes
