We seek a talented and experienced Legal Manager to play a critical role in managing our legal and regulatory affairs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise on, draft, review, negotiate, and close commercial agreements including third-party contracts, service agreements, partnerships, and license agreements.
- Support general corporate legal matters with a solid understanding of the Indian Companies Act, 2013, and related regulations, including corporate governance and group company legal affairs.
- Develop and maintain standard form agreements and legal databases.
- Lead communication strategies to ensure consistent messaging across internal and external stakeholders.
- Engage proactively with regulatory bodies, providing policy advocacy support, and ensuring compliance with RBI, SEBI, FEMA, and other relevant frameworks.
- Ensure all legal and commercial arrangements comply with contractual obligations and applicable laws.
Requirements:
- A Law Graduate from a recognized university with 3-5 years post-qualification experience.
- Experience in fintech, banking, M&A, and/or general corporate legal matters is essential.
- Candidates with prior exposure to debt transactions and the fintech/banking sector will be given preference.
- Strong knowledge of Indian regulatory frameworks such as RBI guidelines for NBFCs, SEBI, FEMA, and Companies Act compliance.
- A proactive legal professional who can collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams and engage with regulatory bodies confidently.
