Job Title: Senior Platform Leader

This role oversees the operational reliability, scalability, and security of a large-scale enterprise platform.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in engineering leadership, with a proven track record of successfully managing and mentoring teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership & Team Management
    • Manage and mentor a team of engineers, including those focused on platform operations and reliability.
    • Foster an environment conducive to growth by mentoring engineers in their career development.
    • Identify talent and provide opportunities for engineers to develop their skills and grow in their roles.
    • Build a high-performing culture by promoting automation, observability, collaboration, and accountability.
  • Technical Leadership
    • Provide deep technical expertise and leadership in managing the D&A Platform.
    • Serve as a trusted technical advisor to stakeholders, facilitating technical conversations and decision-making.
    • Collaborate with architects and engineers across teams to ensure alignment on technical designs and solutions.
  • Platform Governance and Excellence
    • Drive best practices in governance, monitoring, and security for the platform.
    • Ensure that platform reliability and operational excellence meet enterprise-grade standards.
    • Stay abreast of advancements in platform engineering, cloud technologies, and software/data engineering.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong Technical Expertise
    • Deep knowledge of platform engineering, cloud technologies, software engineering, and data engineering.
    • Experience in fostering a high-performing culture and driving automation, observability, and accountability.
    • Strong understanding of platform reliability, scalability, and security in large-scale environments.
  • Effective Communication
    • Proven ability to collaborate and align efforts with stakeholders to drive success.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud-native technologies.
