Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced leader to spearhead the development of our data platforms, pipelines, and ingestion systems. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions that drive business growth.

About the Role

  1. The Senior Engineering Manager will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable data platforms, pipelines, and ingestion systems that meet our business needs.
  2. They will also lead the build-out of OLAP stacks and support reporting products using big data technologies.
  3. This role requires strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams to deliver mission-critical data projects.
  4. The Senior Engineering Manager will play a key role in driving platform extensibility and influencing architecture decisions company-wide.

Key Responsibilities

  1. The successful candidate will develop robust backend systems using Python, MongoDB, Kafka, and CDC.
  2. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact data features.
  3. Ensuring system performance, reliability, and scalability for platform-wide adoption is critical to this role.
  4. The Senior Engineering Manager will innovate within the data domain, including building custom programming tools and internal data frameworks.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on data platforms and pipelines.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions that drive business growth.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Familiarity with Python, MongoDB, Kafka, and CDC.
