Job Title: Senior R&D Engineer

We are seeking an accomplished research and development engineer to lead the design, engineering, and optimization of innovative medical solutions.

  • Develop novel medical devices from conceptualization through commercialization.
  • Oversee product development lifecycle including feasibility studies, prototyping, verification & validation, risk assessment, and design transfer to manufacturing.
  • Evaluate regulatory requirements to ensure compliance with global standards, including FDA, ISO 13485, MDR, IEC 60601, and ISO 14971.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation by researching new technologies, materials, and processes that enhance product performance and cost-effectiveness.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Quality, Manufacturing, Regulatory Affairs, and Marketing teams to guarantee successful product development and launch.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive new product development (NPD) initiatives from concept to market.
  • Ensure alignment with company goals, strategic objectives, and industry best practices.
  • Lead multidisciplinary project teams to deliver complex projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including executive leadership, customers, and vendors.

Requirements:

  • Master's or Ph.D. degree in a relevant field such as Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or Materials Science.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in research and development, preferably in a medical device industry.
  • Proven track record of delivering innovative products, driving process improvements, and fostering a culture of innovation.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and technical skills.
