Job Overview:

We are seeking an accomplished Database Developer to join our team. As a key member of the organization, you will design, develop, and maintain high-performance databases using MySQL Enterprise Versions Products.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop high-performance databases utilizing MySQL Enterprise Versions Products.
  • Effectively migrate from MySQL to Maria and vice-versa with minimal downtime.
  • Configure and troubleshoot Oracle Enterprise Monitor (OEM) and MySQL Enterprise Monitor (MEM) for optimal performance.
  • Implement robust backup strategies using mysqldump/mysqlpump for logical backups and ensure data integrity.
  • Develop InnoDB Cluster and Master-Slave replication configurations, as well as troubleshoot issues related to MySQL Enterprise Audit, Encryption & keyring.
  • Utilize open-source HA tools like keepalived/tungstun to ensure high availability.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop database functionalities and resolve MySQL Performance Issues.
  • Provide solutions and troubleshoot issues in public cloud environments (AWS/Azure).

Requirements:

Qualifications include:

  • Familiarity with MariaDB and NoSQL databases is beneficial.
  • Good understanding of data management concepts, including permissions, recovery, security, and monitoring.
  • Ensure all database programs meet organizational and performance requirements.
  • User management, space management, and shell scripting skills are essential.
  • Effective communication skills to work with foreign clients.
