System Resilience Engineer

We are seeking an accomplished System Resilience Engineer to craft and execute resiliency-focused testing strategies for our enterprise-grade applications and infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will develop, execute, and maintain test plans, scripts, and scenarios that validate fault tolerance, system recovery, and high availability.

A key responsibility will be to perform stress, load, chaos, and failure testing to simulate real-world disruptions and uncover vulnerabilities in our systems.

The selected individual will analyze test results to provide actionable insights and risk assessments to engineering and leadership teams.

Conducting root cause analysis on test failures and collaborating with teams to recommend improvements in design or operations is also a critical aspect of this role.

Maintaining system behavior during disruption scenarios, highlighting performance bottlenecks, and proposing resiliency enhancements is essential for success.

  • This position requires 5–8 years of experience in software testing, QA, or systems engineering with a focus on resiliency testing.
  • A strong understanding of system architecture, networking concepts, and database management systems is necessary.
  • Hands-on experience with testing tools such as Apache JMeter and Rational Performance Tester is required.
  • Proficiency in scripting/programming languages: Python and Java is a must.
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills for troubleshooting complex issues are essential.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with DevOps, engineering, and infrastructure teams is vital.
