Job Overview:

As a Transition Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing multiple waves and tracks of a transition project. This includes executing the project end-to-end from initiation to closure. You will report directly to the Transition Leader and be accountable for internal and external reporting and tracking.

  • Manage active transitions assigned to your portfolio.
  • Act as the customer's single point of contact (SPOC) for all questions, decisions, actions, and updates.
  • Support the project as the first escalation point for internal and customer issues.
  • Drive governance calls and meetings for internal and customer updates.
  • Plan, conduct, and manage relevant trainings for the transitions team.
  • Participate in or conduct assessments to gauge training needs.
  • Understand strategic business objectives and facilitate the definition of project scope, goals, and deliverables.
  • Participate in creating and reviewing transition solutions for RFPs/RFIs and pre-sales support.
  • Identify and define business cases, develop detailed project charts, plans, and transition plans.
  • Combine process migration activities with IT implementation.
  • Provide customers with a distinct advantage by managing both IT and operations.
  • Optimize the transition methodology to reduce time, costs, risks, and retain/improve quality.
  • Manage risk – understand business and operational risks and develop mitigation plans.
  • Responsible for driving process-specific business continuity planning.
  • Create and maintain project management documents, including status reports, project plans, knowledge transfer documentation, and requisite approvals.
  • Participate in opportunity analysis and due diligence of potential projects, and support solutioning for new bids/RFP-RFI responses/client presentations and sales cycles.
Key Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience preferably in BPO/BPM background.
  • Graduate/Post Graduate degree.
