Job Description:

The organization is seeking a skilled professional to undertake ESG analysis and drive sustainable investment strategies.

This role involves undertaking thorough due diligence on investment proposals, developing stakeholder engagement plans, leading environmental and social impact evaluations, and contributing to impact monitoring efforts.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth research and analysis of investment opportunities
  • Develop and maintain effective stakeholder consultation and engagement processes
  • Lead the evaluation of environmental and social impacts of investments
  • Contribute to the development of strategic plans for sustainable investment
  • Evaluate investment proposals based on ESG criteria
  • Prepare ESG-related sections of investment reports
  • Report on ESG performance to relevant stakeholders
  • Coordinate with investors on ESG matters
  • Share knowledge and best practices with team members and other organizations

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will hold an MBA or equivalent degree in a social science discipline and have 3-5 years' experience in financial modeling and investment analysis.

Strong analytical, organizational, presentation, and communication skills are required. Basic Tamil language skills are desirable.
