About the Role
The NRI Sales Manager is a key position within Axis Bank, responsible for driving business growth through portfolio management and team leadership. This role requires a deep understanding of financial markets, regulatory guidelines, and customer needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a team to achieve high attrition rates below 15%
- Ensure compliance and control among team members
- Engage with clients across geographies to establish financial needs and provide solutions
- Use financial acumen to review client data and align their needs with superior service
- Achieve product-wise targets and cross-sell products based on demographics, lifestyle, and risk profiling
- Acquire, deepen, and upgrade all ETB and NTB relationships
- Manage critical processes such as contacting customers for high-value transactions, purpose of remittance, and fund transfer
- Drive steady granular balance-sheet growth and up-migrate clients to the right segment
- Assess risk and demonstrate consideration for the firm's reputation, its clients, and assets
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess:
- Graduate from a recognized institute
- 9-12 years of experience in a relevant role or BFSI sector
- AMFI, IRDA, and PMS certifications
Skills and Proficiencies:
- Knowledge of industry trends, technology, marketing, and product knowledge
- Regulatory guidelines and norms expertise
- Excellent communication skills in English and local languages
- Ability to manage complex client situations
- Risk and uncertainty management
- Pressure handling and meeting deadlines
