Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

Job Description:

As a Cloud Infrastructure Specialist, you will be responsible for designing and implementing high-availability (HA) architectures in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environments.

This includes managing tenancies, virtual cloud networks (VCNs), compartments, network layers, firewalls, subnets, and storage options. You will administer OCI infrastructure by installing, configuring, migrating, tuning, patching, and monitoring services.

  • Develop and modify Terraform scripts for application deployments on OCI and for managing OCI infrastructure.
  • Perform performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization as required.
  • Configure CPU, memory, and disk partitions as needed to ensure high availability of infrastructure.
  • Apply OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis and upgrade administrative tools and utilities.
  • Configure and provision network security groups, bastion hosts, public load balancers, and other services as necessary.
  • Provision storage, compute nodes, and networks, and understand requirements for the same.
  • Work with IaaS solutions, including virtual machines, networks, on-premise/hybrid cloud computing, cloud identity, security models, cloud monitoring, logging, and local and cloud storage.
  • Manage certificate renewals on OCI.

  • Certified OCI Migration and Integration Specialist (Preferred)
  • Certified OCI Security Associate/Professional (Preferred)
  • Certified OCI Cloud Operations Associate (Preferred)
