Senior Systems Manager Role

This strategic position involves overseeing large-scale projects in Workday, driving innovation and continuous improvement through cross-functional collaboration to analyze and optimize HR system and process functionality.

The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of how data flows to critical downstream systems (benefits, finance, etc.) and play a key role in mitigating risk when changes are made in the Workday system to these other systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • End-to-end ownership of Workday projects, including attending meetings, requirements gathering, offering consulting, developing technical solutions, testing, and deployment to production.
  • Active participation in collecting system improvements/enhancements to raise requests for change.
  • Coordination of system testing or requirements building to produce effective and sustainable system solutions.
  • Management of relationships with global counterparts to ensure global consistency and consideration for system initiatives, changes, and enhancements.
Requirements:
  • A Doctorate degree, 3 years of HR Operations/Reporting experience, or a Master's degree with 4-6 years of experience, or a Bachelor's degree with 6-8 years of experience, or a Diploma with 10-12 years of experience.
  • Previous managerial experience directly managing projects or programs.
  • Previous Workday implementation experience is required.
  • Hands-on previous Workday configuration experience across multiple modules.
  • Ability to handle multiple high-priority projects at one time.
  • Ability to adjust and adapt quickly to new incoming priorities.
  • Experience with Agile methodology.
