We seek a highly skilled professional to assume the role of Investment Operations Lead.

  • Establish strong relationships with external stakeholders including fund administrators, investment managers, and auditors.
  • Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality.
  • Play a key role in a new team environment collaborating closely with colleagues from various locations.
  • Review financial statements and fund reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Coordinate investor capital calls and distributions.
  • Support the audit process for the funds.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the lead specialist for the team supporting their day-to-day responsibilities.
  • Emphasize risk management focusing on building robust processes with proactive oversight.
  • Ensure timely maintenance of supporting procedures and provide training for team members.
  • Research investment regulations and fund structures, interpret relevant points, and summarize in a concise manner.
  • Monitor project timelines ensuring timely completion of tasks.
  • Oversee team responsibilities in line with service level agreements and key performance indicators.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 6 years' experience in funds or asset management within a leading organization, possessing a strong understanding of core fund operations including fund accounting, middle office, and transfer agency.
  • Proactive approach towards optimizing efficiency through a 'right first time' mindset.
  • Results-driven individual with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong academic background in accounting, finance, or economics is essential.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex issues clearly.
  • Proficiency in IT applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and aptitude for learning new technologies quickly.
