Job Summary:

The Packaging Executive plays a pivotal role in driving the procurement and sourcing of packaging materials and services, ensuring alignment with company objectives and promoting cost-efficiency, timely delivery, and quality compliance.

  • Source and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, service, and reliability to optimize value proposition.
  • Negotiate terms with vendors to secure best value and ensure seamless execution.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and consumption data to inform future decisions.
  • Handle quality control reports, rejections, and replacements to minimize disruptions.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse and operations teams to maximize efficiency.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and procurement best practices to mitigate risks.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve processes, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders to drive collaboration and mutual success.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Packaging, Operations, or related field, complemented by relevant experience and skills.

Key Skills:

  • Proficiency in MS Office suite, including Excel for data analysis and PowerPoint for presentations.
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills, with ability to navigate complex contract law and sourcing strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with capacity to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities, able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
