Senior Accounting Professional

About the Position:

  • We are seeking an experienced Senior Accounting professional to join our team as an Accounting Supervisor.

The Role:

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong accounting skills, experience in AP and AR using QuickBooks, and excellent communication skills. The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of GAAP, US Accounting, and Taxation processes.

Responsibilities:

  1. Perform reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  2. Develop and maintain knowledge of clients' financial matters to provide expert advice.
  3. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of applicable taxation and other relevant legislation and guidelines.
  4. Ensure clients consistently receive service excellence in line with our standards.
  5. Maintain records of financial transactions by establishing accounts; posting transactions; ensuring legal requirements compliance.
  6. Develops a system to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts;
  7. Maintains historical records by filing documents.
  8. Prepares financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
  9. Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying requirements; enforcing adherence to requirements; filing reports; and advising management on needed actions.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of accounting experience within the corporate/business sector.
  • Hands-on experience in AP, and AR using QuickBooks in Real Estate Accounting.
  • Education background with either a Bachelor's or Master's in Commerce.
  • Good English communication skills.
  • Knowledge of GAAP, US Accounting, and Taxation process.
  • Experience in working with multiple legal entities under different legal umbrellas.
  • Must be a CPA candidate or CPA enrolled.
