Purchase Executive Job Description

A prominent organization seeks an experienced procurement professional to assume a key role in the acquisition and management of materials. The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Procurement Management: Source, evaluate, and procure materials as per project requirements while ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement.
  • Vendor & Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and onboard new vendors and suppliers for all components, develop strong relationships with existing suppliers, and negotiate pricing and payment terms.
  • Contract & Compliance: Review and finalize purchase agreements and contracts in coordination with the legal and finance departments, ensuring adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Cross-functional Coordination: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and site teams to understand material requirements and delivery schedules, coordinate with finance and accounts for vendor payments and budget approvals.
Requirements:
  • Any Graduate or Diploma qualification
  • 2-4 years of experience in purchasing or a related field

The successful candidate will be able to stay updated on market trends, identify alternative suppliers and materials, and enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness in the industry.
