Financial Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Financial Controller to join our organization and drive financial excellence.

About the Role:
  • Manage end-to-end accounting with a team to ensure accurate and timely books of accounts, providing transparency through dashboards and MIS.
  • Oversee operations in Account Receivable/Accounts Payable, Payroll, and manage all compliance related to the company, ensuring seamless processes.
  • Finalize trial balances and provisions on a monthly/quarterly basis, offering clear visibility through financial statements.
  • Forecast cash flow positions, borrowing needs, and available funds for expenses and investments, making informed strategic decisions.
  • Manage external stakeholders, partners, and agencies, actively participating in audits and maintaining strong relationships.
Requirements:
  • A qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 3+ years of experience in similar roles with small-medium sized companies or technology start-ups.
  • Prior experience working in e-commerce accounting is an added plus, showcasing adaptability and expertise.
  • Ability to build the finance function from scratch and thrive in the uncertainty of early-stage startups, driving growth and innovation.
  • Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, applying analytical skills to inform business decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage customers and convey complex concepts clearly, fostering collaboration and success.
