Job Title:

Distributed Control Systems (DCS) Engineering Specialist

Job Description:

This role involves the design, implementation, and commissioning of DCS systems for solar and energy storage projects.

The ideal candidate will have experience with software and hardware engineering, database configuration, and system integration. They will be responsible for implementing DCS and SCADA systems based on client specifications and ensuring that they meet project requirements.

The specialist will work closely with the hardware team to extract point databases from customer drawings and configure the DCS system accordingly. They will also distribute engineering tasks to system integrators and ensure timely completion within budget and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement DCS systems for solar and energy storage projects
  • Configure DCS systems based on customer specifications
  • Work with the hardware team to extract point databases and configure the DCS system
  • Distribute engineering tasks to system integrators
  • Maintain high-quality standards in all aspects of the project
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Control & Instrumentation, or Power Engineering
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in DCS and PLC programming/engineering/commissioning
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills
  • Ability to read electrical single-line diagrams and switchboard control logic drawings
