Job Summary:

We are seeking a Product Development Lead to drive the development of new products and optimize existing formulations for regulated markets. This includes solid and liquid dosage forms such as tablets, capsules, solutions, suspensions, pellets, and MUPS.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop project plans, define activities, and ensure timely completion.
  • Lead the execution/development of new formulations by investigating API characteristics, safety, and compatibility with other ingredients.
  • Identify resource requirements for projects and assimilate literature information to ensure appropriate usage throughout development.
  • Develop R&D plans and experimental designs using QBD principles.
  • Plan and coordinate lab scale up/optimization and pilot BE batches while adhering to lab GMP systems.
  • Review lab experiment notebooks and prepare technology transfer documents.
  • Liaise with technology transfer teams and production teams for seamless technology transfer.
  • Optimize existing product performance by researching viability, safety, and compatibility of ingredients and formulas.
  • Evaluate stability protocols, monitor stability studies, and interpret results to advance product development.
  • Liaise with various departments to ensure timely project completion.
  • Prepare new SOPs, manuals, and guidelines documents as required.
Qualifications & Pre-Requisites:
  • Master in pharmacy (Pharmaceutics)
  • Must-Have Skills: Formulation development experience of Solid & Liquid Oral; preferred to have Pellets project experience.
