Oracle Apps DBA Job Overview

Job Summary: We are seeking an Oracle Apps DBA to support our 24*7 shift model for Production/ Stage/ Development Oracle EBS.

  • Perform daily health checks for production environment, identify performance bottlenecks and fix them.
  • Provide regular DBA support using tools like Serena or ServiceNow.
Responsibilities:
  1. Installation, configuration, upgrading, administering, monitoring, cloning, Patching, Backup and restore of Oracle EBS.
  2. Review application/databases, identify performance bottlenecks and fixing along with daily production health checks.
  3. Plan for instance growth requirements.
  4. Expert in RAC, ASM, WebLogic Administration.
  5. Experience in all routine DBA tasks including health checks, troubleshooting issues and installations.
Requirements:
  • 8-12 years Oracle Experience
  • Willingness to work in the 24*7 shifts.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good problem solving and analytical skills.
