Job Overview

The Assistant Manager plays a pivotal role in driving business growth by securing high-value enterprise software deals focused on manufacturing and quality applications.

This is a strategic sales position that requires a seasoned professional with strong industry ties and a passion for building client success.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the full sales cycle from lead generation and qualification through proposal development, negotiation, and contract closure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Secure new enterprise clients in manufacturing, industrial sectors.
  • Sell high-value software solutions, including MES, QMS, and related applications that support manufacturing digitalization and quality improvement.
  • Manage the complete sales cycle: lead qualification, solution positioning, proposal development, negotiation, and closing.
  • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of strategic opportunities and maintain accurate CRM records.
  • Build strong relationships with key decision-makers including plant managers, quality directors, IT leaders, and C-suite executives.
  • Collaborate with technical teams (pre-sales, solution architects, delivery) to ensure alignment between customer requirements and proposed solutions.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and contribute to revenue growth and market expansion goals.
Requirements

A minimum 4-6 years of experience in enterprise software sales, preferably within manufacturing, industrial automation, or quality management.

Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and closing complex, high-value deals.

Strong understanding of manufacturing environments, including key business challenges, compliance drivers, and digital transformation trends.

Existing network within the manufacturing, engineering, and quality domains.

Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills; able to tailor messaging to executive and technical audiences.

Self-starter with high accountability, drive, and the ability to manage deals independently.

Familiarity with CRM tools and sales reporting metrics.
