Cloud Infrastructure Specialist Job Description

We're seeking a skilled Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. This role involves designing and implementing scalable and highly available cloud infrastructure on major platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Implement Cloud Infrastructure: Build scalable and highly available cloud infrastructure on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Maintain Infrastructure Security Controls: Establish and maintain IAM policies, secrets management, access controls, monitoring for robust security.
  • Automate Deployment Workflows: Develop CI/CD pipelines and automate deployment workflows to enhance developer productivity.
  • Ensure System Observability: Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting frameworks for proactive issue resolution.
  • Embed Security Best Practices: Partner with engineering teams to integrate security into product development.
  • Drive Compliance Readiness: Facilitate security automation and documentation for SOC2, ISO27001, GDPR compliance.
Requirements:
  • Experience in DevOps and Cloud Infrastructure: 2–5 years of hands-on experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, or security engineering roles.
  • Strong Cloud Expertise: Proficiency in at least one major cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
  • Automation Skills: Experience with Terraform / Ansible / Kubernetes / Docker.
  • Networking and Security Knowledge: Familiarity with networking, firewalls, VPNs, endpoint security, and monitoring tools.
  • CICD Pipeline Experience: Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins).
  • Security Fundamentals: Strong knowledge of security fundamentals (encryption, IAM, vulnerability management).

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Zero-Trust Architectures: Exposure to zero-trust architectures.
  • Compliance Frameworks: Familiarity with compliance frameworks (SOC2, ISO, HIPAA, GDPR).
  • Incident Response: Experience responding to security incidents in production environments.
  • Scripting Skills: Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Bash, Go) for automation.
