Highly Skilled Process Design Specialist Wanted

We are seeking a highly skilled process engineering professional to join our team. As a globally distributed team, we support pharma innovation through process intensification, tech transfer, and sustainable manufacturing solutions.
Job Description:
- Develop and optimize flow chemistry and batch processes for commercial manufacturing.
- Perform complex calculations (heat & mass balance, reaction kinetics, equipment sizing) for process design and scale-up.
- Prepare engineering deliverables like Block Flow Diagrams (BFDs), Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
- Support process safety assessments (HAZOP, risk analysis, safety studies).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for robust process design.
- Evaluate new technologies for innovative solutions in continuous manufacturing and flow chemistry applications.
- Provide process engineering support during pilot plant and commercial scale-up.
Key Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
- 5–7 years of experience in process design engineering within the pharmaceutical/chemical industry.
- Hands-on expertise in flow chemistry and batch process design.
- Strong knowledge of process design tools and calculations.
- Experience in preparing and interpreting BFDs, PFDs, P&IDs.
- Proficiency in simulation software is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.
