About the Opportunity
Citrin Cooperman India LLP is seeking a highly skilled US Tax Professional to lead high net worth returns. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for reviewing and preparing complex tax returns for individuals and managing day-to-day interactions with the team to ensure timely delivery of services.
Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation of high net worth individual tax returns, including form 1040 and 1041 returns.
- Develop and train new and experienced staff on tax processes and procedures.
- Collaborate with peers and supervisors to ensure effective communication and timely delivery of services.
- Demonstrate exceptional client relationship management and client service skills.
- Exercise initiative and sound judgment in resolving complex tax issues.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in 1040 HNI individual taxation.
- Qualifications: CA, CA Inter, CPA, EA, MBA Finance, M.COM.
- Knowledge of a broad range of US income tax laws.
- Strong writing, Excel modeling, and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in CCH Axcess tax software, Caseware, Microsoft Office applications, and expert in tax research software (Bloomberg BNA, RIA Checkpoint, Intelliconnect).
Estimated Salary Range
$120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
