We are seeking an experienced High Net Worth Tax Manager to lead our business taxation team. As a key member of our Ultra-High Net Worth team, you will advise clients on complex tax services, including wealth transfer, charitable and retirement planning, and tax compliance.
About the RoleThis is a leadership role that requires a strong technical expertise in individual, fiduciary, and investment partnership taxation, with an understanding of complex investments and the related tax implications. You will be responsible for managing client engagements, leading the engagement team, and collaborating with RSM specialists on state and local taxation and international taxation.
Key Responsibilities- Advise ultra-high net worth clients on a full spectrum of tax services, including wealth transfer, charitable and retirement planning, and tax compliance.
- Lead the engagement team focused on closely held businesses, individual, fiduciary, and gift/estate taxation.
- Anticipate client needs and collaborate with RSM specialists regarding state and local taxation and international taxation.
- Deliver exceptional talent experience by building collaborative teams, developing and rewarding team members.
- Provide leadership, training, and career mentorship to staff and supervisor-level team members.
- 8-10 years of experience in business taxation working for a Big 4 or U.S.-based public accounting firm.
- Bachelor's degree and master's degree in accounting (B.Com/BBA and MBA/M.Com).
- CPA license or an Active Enrolled Agent.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience working in public accounting with an emphasis on taxation, most recent years should include experience in managing client engagements and leadership roles.
- Proficient in individual, fiduciary, and investment partnership taxation, with an understanding of complex investments and the related tax implications.
- Familiar with multi-state taxation.
We offer a competitive salary of $150,000-$200,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off. We also offer opportunities for professional development and advancement within the company.
